We’re excited to head out West for our debut at the Yarraville Live; to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of one of Mellencamp’s greatest albums ‘The Lonesome Jubilee‘. Gary’s even bought a new guitar for this one & can’t wait to show it off! We’ll be performing the album in it’s entirety, plus another set of rockin’ hits you know & love. This month we’re Gippsland bound, with Austral Hotel Korumburra coming up on Saturday 30th July. It’s been a long time since we’ve been down that way & we’re looking forward to heading back & catchin’ up with the locals; they’ve always been great supporters. We’re also keen to encourage visitors to regional Vic, great excuse to catch up with your Gippsland buddies & join us for a rockin’ night of Mellencamp tunes – we’ll be R.O.C.K.’n Korumburra town!!

This iconic venue’s always been a favourite of ours, but even more so with the memories made last year; with our sell out 30th Anniversary shows. We’ll be wrapping up our hugely popular *30th Anniversary Tour* at another of Melbourne’s iconic music venues, **York On Lilydale** on 25th June. It’s been great reminiscing with so many of you who have shared our journey over the past 30+ years and we’ve been overwhelmed with the incredible support. **York** is located just 45 minutes east of Melbourne at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges and Gateway to the Yarra Valley. They have accommodation available on site, so book yourselves in, ‘cos this is gonna be another big one!

As a special treat we’re excited to have **Emma Rodda** joining the band, for our celebration of **John Mellencamp’s 70th Birthday**, as well as our **’30th Anniversary’**. Emma is a Victorian College of the Arts graduate violinist. She has toured extensively and recorded with the Orchestra Victoria, Melbourne Opera Company, Ruckus (OZ), The Raga Dolls Salon Orchestra, Alan Zavod recording, Opera in the Alps orchestra, Southern-Cross Philharmonia-Orchestra and MSO recording sessions, Countdown, Hey Hey It’s Saturday orchestral performances, and many more. Emma was recently concert master for ‘Synthony’ a NZ live disco + orchestra show. She is sought after as a session player for album, film and television recordings. Emma currently is the Head of Strings at Wesley College Elsternwick. She is Lead violinist for Mike Brady and The Exciting McGillicuddies. Emma is a passionate musician and has furthered her creative explorations through improvisation. **Scarecrow** are very much looking forward to performing with Emma at **Chelsea Heights Hotel** for both celebrations – don’t miss this one!!
