Next up for us, we’ll be returning to the fabulous Bellarine Estate Winery on 31st January! Perfect spot on a balmy night, for an outdoor event, which you’re welcome to bring the whole family along to. Bellarine Estate is an award-winning, family-run winery, set on top of the rolling hills of the Bellarine Peninsula, overlooking Corio Bay. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy their Texas BBQ sharing plates, straight from the smoker & classic American-smoked delicacies, including vegetarian options. Paired with award-winning wines, picturesque views & hit, after hit, of Americana tunes, it doesn’t get much better!

This is an outdoor event. Bring along your camp chairs & rugs to sit on the lawn. Some seating is available, on a first in basis. No BYO food or alcohol, both will be available to purchase on the night. Kids Under 12Years – Free Entry. Gates open from 6.00pm.

Last show of the year & wrapping up our 35th Anniversary Tour at York On Lilydale this November. Thank you to everyone who has taken part in our journey over the past 35 years – we obviously couldn’t have done it without you!! York is located just 45 minutes east of Melbourne at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges and Gateway to the Yarra Valley. They have accommodation available on site, so book yourselves in, ‘cos this is gonna be another big one!

New show announcement – we’re excited to be performing at Missing Gorilla in Eltham, coming up in October. Missing Gorilla opened in March 2021, under the passionate direction of owners, Jason and Anthony. The owners have embraced the untapped potential of this wonderful venue and seek to bring this venue space to life with great food and exciting local talent. “We seek to showcase the best produce and wines the region has to offer. We welcome our local and extended community in creating warm and inclusive environment where friends and family feel at home.” We’ve heard great things about the venue – they’re great supporters of live music & we can’t wait to ‘Check it Out’ ourselves!

This will be a night to remember at Memo Music Hall: Celebrating 35 Years of Scarecrow – The Mellencamp Show and 40 Years of our namesake –‘Scarecrow’ – the album!

Up next for us, this milestone show, honouring the 40th Anniversary of Mellencamp’s legendary album ‘Scarecrow’; featuring timeless top ten hits like ‘Lonely Ol’ Night’, ‘Small Town’, ‘R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A.’, and ‘Rain on the Scarecrow’. Released in July 1985, Mellencamp’s 8th studio album, peaked at No.2, on the US Billboard 200; the overall theme of the album is the fading of the American Dream in the face of corporate greed. Rolling Stone wrote that songs such as “Face of the Nation”, “Minutes to Memories” and “Small Town” have a “bittersweet, reflective tone”. We’ll be performing the ‘Scarecrow’ album in its entirety, plus loads more Mellencamp hits. Let’s honour two incredible milestones, celebrating 35 years of an iconic Melbourne band and paying tribute to a true American legend & 40 years of his album ‘Scarecrow’!
