Lutze Family Fun Raiser – Sun 2nd June

Musicland 2nd June

The Lutze family home was destroyed by a devastating fire May 4th, due to an electric blanket. Thankfully they all escaped and no one was seriously injured or worse. They unfortunately lost their beloved pets. But right now, until the insurance side is sorted out, they are left with no clothes, shoes, toiletries and essentials. Their daughter is due to move into her new house and everything they have been collecting for the last five or so years for their new home is destroyed. Most will know Andy Lutze and those of us that do, know how caring and thoughtful he is. He always lights up a room with his bubbly personality. Andy Lutze is the front man for one of Australia’s Premier Tribute Shows in Gold Chisel. They gladly give up their time in support of worthy charities and family events. It is time for us to join together and show our support for this family in need.

This special event starts at 10am and will run till midnight Sunday the 2nd of June. Scarecrow will be performing one set of Mellencamp ditties, along with some of Melbourne’s most established Tribute shows, personalities and cover bands, who are donating their time to help raise some much needed money for this family in need. It’s a huge task to put this event together, as such we’ll be in touch again with some further details on performance times, once we’re advised.

Tickets will be available at the door at $25pp and Kids $10, all proceeds will go to the Lutze Family.

NO RESERVED SEATING FOR THIS EVENT.

Musicland will be holding raffles on the night also. If anyone would like to donate items to be raffled, please email Cathy on musicland@live.com.auMusicland Logo

Brighter Days Festival – Fri 8th Mar

Brighter Days 2.jpgThe  Brighter Days Festival is 3 days of family friendly fun held annually in the Victorian township of Bright, on the Labour Day Weekend in March each year.  It all started when a group of like minded friends whose interests include bikes, cars and music formed a committee to organise the inaugural “Brighter Days” event. In the first year in excess of $32,000 was raised for two chosen children’s charities, and now the Brighter Days Foundation have added a third charity and donated well in excess of one million dollars – a figure the foundation could not have imagined, when starting back in 2013! They hope to continue to raise more funds each year through natural growth and as awareness of the annual event develops. The name obviously is two fold; the first, that the event is held in Bright, the second is in the hope that we can make a “brighter day” for some kids.

Scarecrow – The Mellencamp Show are excited to be participating in the festival & we’ll be performing on the Friday night approx 8.45pm, hope you can join us!

There’s no ticket entry cost, however patrons are requested to purchase a $10.00 wristband donation (Adult) or $5 wristband donation (Child under 16), upon entry to the festival. See you in Bright!
