Celebrate America’s 250th birthday in true heartland style, with Scarecrow-The Mellencamp Show, this 4th of July. This special Independence Day performance brings the timeless songs of John Mellencamp to life, from ‘Jack & Diane’, ‘Hurts So Good’, to ‘Pink Houses’, ‘Small Town’, ‘R.O.C.K. in the USA’, and many more fan favourites. With authentic arrangements, gritty vocals and a powerhouse band, Scarecrow channels the spirit and blue-collar edge that made Mellencamp an American icon, turning Yarraville Live into a slice of the American heartland for one unforgettable night.
To mark the 250th anniversary, we encourage you to come dressed in red, white &/or blue, to help turn the room into a sea of stars and stripes.

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be returning out West in 2024 & performing once again at Yarraville Live. The New West has been screaming out for an entertainment destination that is local, easy to get to, affordable and offers high quality live music in professional and comfortable surroundings. The wait is over. The Yarraville Club at 135 Stephen Street Yarraville is filling this massive “gap” in the West. Under the guidance of James Young (Owner and booker of the Cherry Bar in AC/DC Lane Melbourne) and Mark Burchett (Booker for The Caravan Club and The Flying Saucer in Elsternwick) The Yarraville Club has been re-invented as “the” live music venue of the New West in Melbourne with a magnificent Live Room flexible enough for both Dinner & Show or classic pub rock standing options. ‘The Lonesome Jubilee’ – 35th Anniversary
Join us Saturday week for our celebration of ‘The Lonesome Jubilee’, one of Mellencamp’s most successful albums, achieving 6 x Platinum status & 6 x Top 10 singles. This is a one off show, unique to Yarraville Live & we’re thrilled to have violinist Emma Rodda join us once more. Yarraville Club have a set up to cater for everyone’s needs; including a section to the left, with Premium Seating/Dinner & Show options (selling fast) & a section to the right for Standing Room tickets (not far from the bar), with plenty of room to dance. Rehearsals have been coming together nicely for this one; it’ll be an amazing live experience, a truly special celebration & a performance not to be missed!
